DIY Moisturizing Handsoap

We all know the importance of washing our hands, especially those of us who come in contact with many people through our jobs. But when you have dry hands like I do, constantly washing your hands or using hand-sanitizer can leave your skin dry, chapped, and itchy. Here’s an easy, cheap, natural and vegan DIY Moisturizing Handsoap recipe:

DIY, recipes, handsoap, natural, nontoxic, baby care, dry skin, sensitive skin, beauty, healthy

2 parts mild liquid Castile soap (I like Dr. Bronner’s Baby Mild Liquid Soap)

1 part vegetable glycerin

3-5 drops of jojoba oil

3-5 drops of lavender essential oil (or any essential oil you like)

Take a cleaned, empty hand soap dispenser, and fill it with your desired amount of the soap and glycerin (measurements don’t have to be exact, this is supposed to be easy-breezy), then add desired amount of jojoba and essential oils. Shake it up, voila! I told you it was easy. If you buy these products in bulk (especially the Castile soap and vegetable glycerin) they will last you for a long time.
